“It’s gratifying to be a part of Spottswoode’s evolution over the years. As the company grows and changes, the Novaks always make a sincere effort to remain true to core values which, to me, is the reason (and the reward) for their success.”

Peah Armstrong

Peah Armstrong, Vice President & CFO

As Vice President of Spottswoode, Diane “Peah” Armstrong works closely with Beth on all aspects of the business. She focuses on business administration, overseeing all aspects of accounting, direct customer sales, and computer systems management. A graduate of UCLA, Peah earned her degree in English and Computer Programming and brings to her job a background in business systems analysis and design. With Spottswoode since 1988, Peah’s personal passions include horseback riding and spending time with her husband, two adult children, and her dog, Panda.

Erica Wallenbrock, Director of Marketing

Erica joined Spottswoode in the summer of 2007 after dedicating the years prior to raising her three children. Before moving to the Napa Valley, Erica worked in Client Services for advertising agencies in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Chicago. She earned her international MBA at the American Graduate School of International Business in Glendale, Arizona. Her interest in wine began when she discovered that she could satisfy her undergraduate science requirement by taking a “Geography of Wines” course while attending Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Tiffany Minnick, Customer Service & Office Manager

Tiffany was born and raised in Calistoga and graduated from Calistoga High in 2001. After attending Santa Rosa Junior College, Tiffany began her career in banking in St. Helena, where many of her customers were winery owners—it was there that she met the women of Spottswoode! Joining the winery in 2008, Tiffany is usually the first person you see and the first voice you’ll hear when you contact Spottswoode. She is responsible for processing our direct customer and wholesale orders. Tiffany, her husband, and their two young children live nearby and enjoy camping and snowboarding.

Nicole Knoth, Hospitality & Events Manager

Nicole joined Spottswoode in the summer of 2012 after managing Direct to Consumer Sales & Marketing for 3 years at Clos du Val in Napa Valley. After having an “epiphany” while visiting Paso Robles wine country in 2008, Nicole and her husband decided to leave their careers and life in San Diego behind to make a fresh start in the wine industry—and they haven’t looked back! At Spottswoode, Nicole manages all visitation activities, conducts the property tours and tastings, and orchestrates winery events. Along with her husband, Nicole enjoys hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and indulging in the food and wine culture that is so abundant in Napa Valley.

MaryPat Sullivan, Wholesale Sales Manager

MaryPat moved to the Napa Valley after graduating from college in her home state of South Dakota, and has never looked back. Having interacted with many of the women at Spottswoode Estate over her years in the Napa Valley wine industry, it was perhaps only a matter of time before MaryPat joined forces with them in July, 2013. As Wholesale Sales Manager, working closely with Lindy Novak, she manages sales to our California restaurant and retail accounts, as well as to our distributors and our export markets. MaryPat loves being associated with good family wineries, having worked previously at Frog’s Leap and Chappellet. When MaryPat isn’t in the office or visiting accounts, you’ll find her out and about in St. Helena riding a bike, swimming or just running around with her husband and two young girls.
