Landon Donley
Assistant Winemaker

Landon Donley joined the Spottswoode team as an intern for the 2010 harvest, and based upon his exceptional enthusiasm and talent he was hired as Assistant Winemaker in the spring of 2011. He grew up in the Sierra Foothills of California, and his fascination with wine was sparked by his role as a vineyard worker “extra” in the film “A Walk in the Clouds.” His work experience encompasses many facets of the wine industry, ranging from retail and wholesale sales to Sommelier certification studies to winemaking.

Prior to joining Spottswoode, Landon interned at Molly Dooker Winery in Australia and Fresno State Winery in Fresno, California, from which he graduated with a degree in Enology.
